Jonathan Hayward

Jonathan (Josh) Hayward hails from Midsomer Norton, a small town outside the City of Bath and is a final year student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, under the tuition of Aneurin James (Welsh National Opera).

Josh is building a career as a freelance Bass Trombone player and is finding himself in increasing demand in South Wales and the South West of England. Orchestral performances with Symfonia Cymru, The English Symphony Orchestra and The London Gala Orchestra as well as appearing in the Brass Band World with the Tredegar and Flowers Bands to name just a few.

Josh is currently studying at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with Ingemaar Roos and Aline Nistad. A period of time in which he hopes will stand him in good stead to be able to continue his studies to a Post Graduate level and continue in his freelance career.
